Maria Conchita Alonso, is an analysis of
dictatorships, revolutions, and populist leaders
that have made good governance impossible in
Latin- America, forcing millions to flee to the US.
The documentary focus on Hugo Chavez, who
dissolved all democratic institutions in Venezuela
replacing them with his “Bolivarian Revolution,”
